Bio

Born and raised in Peekskill, NY, Chris Sista loved taking pictures ever since he found a Fisher Price film camera sitting under the tree one fateful Christmas morning. But it was in high school where he truly discovered his passion for photography. And while attending college at SUNY Purchase, an interest in filmmaking also took hold. This is what eventually brought him to Los Angeles, where he’s been based ever since.

After a few years of navigating the film industry, Chris rediscovered his love of photography. He soon landed at Disney, achieving his childhood dream of living at theme parks while taking pictures of cartoon characters. Chris eventually transitioned to freelance photography, traveling the world for clients including The Walt Disney Company, Marriott Vacations Worldwide, and Ritz-Carlton.

Not content with sticking to one photographic discipline, Chris focuses simultaneously on lifestyle, editorial, travel, and architecture. He is currently in the beginning stages of “Hold For Stills”, an ongoing project which will combine his passions for movies and photography.
